4. Who receives your information

  • Website hosting and database: Lovable Cloud, which uses Supabase as its database service on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Form submissions are stored in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Confirmation emails: these are sent through the email service provided with our website platform, from notify.hoofingmarvellous.net.
  • Videos: if you allow YouTube and play a video, it is shown by YouTube (Google) in its privacy-enhanced mode. See section 7.
  • Shop and online courses: purchases and course access take place on separate platforms under their own terms and privacy notices.
  • HMB Professionals: only with your agreement, when arranging support.

5. International transfers

Our website database is hosted in the European Union. Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Contact info@hoofingmarvellous.net if you would like more information about where your information is processed.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep information only for as long as we need it. The periods below are applied through regular review by our team, after which information is deleted or anonymised unless there is a justified reason to keep it.

7. Cookies, storage and videos

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our own pages store your video choice in your browser for 12 months, so we can respect it. They also store the workshop country you select in your browser’s local storage, under the name hm-booking-country, so the Workshops page can show the relevant prices and use the same country and currency at checkout. This preference has no set expiry and remains until you choose another country or clear this website’s data in your browser. It is a functional preference, not marketing consent.

Video preview images on our Watch & Learn page are served from this website, so YouTube is not contacted until you choose to play a video. Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. The YouTube player loads only after you allow it. Once it loads, YouTube may set cookies or similar storage on your device under Google’s own privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, and EU law where it applies to you, you have the following rights. Some apply only in certain circumstances, for example depending on why we use your information:

  • to ask for a copy of your information;
  • to ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • to ask us to delete your information;
  • to ask us to restrict how we use it;
  • to object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and at any time to direct marketing;
  • to ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation, where we use it on the basis of consent or contract;
  • to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.

To make a request, email info@hoofingmarvellous.net. We will normally respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.

9. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version above. Workshop cancellation terms are set out separately in our Workshop Cancellations & Refunds policy.
